Apollo5™ Ultra‑Low‑Power Edge AI SoCs

The Apollo5™ family is Ambiq’s latest generation of ultra‑low‑power system‑on‑chip (SoC) solutions, designed to deliver significantly higher on‑device processing capability while maintaining exceptional energy efficiency. Built on Ambiq’s proprietary SPOT® (Subthreshold Power Optimized Technology) platform, Apollo5 enables advanced Edge AI, graphics, audio, and sensor processing in battery‑powered and power‑constrained devices.

At the core of the Apollo5 family is the Arm® Cortex®‑M55 processor with Helium™ technology, operating at speeds of up to 250 MHz. This architecture allows AI workloads, such as speech, vision, health monitoring, and industrial analytics, to run directly on the device, reducing latency and dependence on cloud connectivity while extending battery life.

The Apollo5 portfolio includes multiple product groups to address different system requirements. These range from Apollo510 Lite SoC Series for cost‑ and power‑optimized designs, to Apollo510 for maximum local processing capability, and Apollo510B, which integrates Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE 5.4) for connected edge applications. Across the family, Apollo5 devices integrate advanced peripherals, display and graphics acceleration via graphiqSPOT®, and robust hardware‑based security using secureSPOT® 3.0 with Arm TrustZone®.
